Purchased Robux are bought with real money and cannot be cashed out. Earned Robux come from monetizing your games, selling items, and Premium Payouts. Only earned Robux can be exchanged for USD through the Developer Exchange (DevEx) program.

DevEx lets eligible creators cash out earned Robux at $0.0038 per Robux ($380 per 100K Robux). You need minimum 30,000 earned Robux, be 13+ years old, have a verified email, and meet other program requirements. Use our DevEx calculator to estimate your potential earnings.

Only earned Robux (not purchased) can be converted to USD through DevEx. You must meet eligibility requirements and the rate is $0.0038 per Robux. Purchased Robux cannot be refunded or cashed out - they can only be spent on the Roblox platform.
